FS720S Packs Big Sounds in a Small Body

BUENA PARK, CA — Responding to many inquiries from players and dealers who loved the full-scale guitars in the highly-successful FG line, but wanted something more compact, Yamaha has introduced the FS720S, a smaller-body version of the FG720S.

"Learning to play guitar can be a frustrating experience if the instrument isn't proportional to the player's frame," says Bryan Savage, marketing manager, Yamaha Guitars. "Capitalizing on our 40 years of guitar-building experience, the FS720S features all of the same great specs found in the wildly successful FG720S but in a smaller, more comfortable body style."

The FS720S is ideal for players who want a superior acoustic guitar tone, but desire something with a little less bulk. The new model enhances the recently-upgraded FG acoustic guitar line, which provides quality construction, playability, virtual indestructibility, and superior tone at an affordable price.

As with the FG series, the FS720S includes a solid Spruce top, die-cast chrome hardware, and a unique, non-scalloped X-bracing. An inverted L-block creates a tighter connection between the body and the neck, and also provides a full, deep low end.

"Women, children, students, travelers, and anyone who wants a smaller body but still wants a natural, full sound will love this guitar," says Savage.

The FS720S is currently shipping.
