The Allegro line was designed to give more professional features and options to intermediate instruments without significantly raising the cost.
The open wrap design of the new trombone enables a greater response, while the mechanical linkage is designed for easy adjustment and durability. The instrument features a .547 bore and an 8.5-in. gold brass bell, which produces a warm, resonant sound. The new trombone, which will appeal to advancing students, replaces the YSL-548GAL and will be available through Yamaha Allegro dealers only.
"As with all instruments in the Allegro line, the new trombone will provide players with a superior step-up instrument that allows a student to advance to his or her fullest potential," says Kurt Witt, Manager, Wind Instruments.
