Elton John Fans Proud Owners of Limited Edition "Red Piano"
Poggioli hopes that the live piano performances will help interest his children in music lessons. |
Within a few days, the Poggiolis were proud owners of an Elton John Limited Edition Signature Series Red Piano. "The family had wanted to buy a piano for a while," says Poggioli. "And the opportunity to own a piano personally autographed by Elton John was simply irresistible."
New Rochelle, New York police force veteran Joseph Poggioli, Jr. and his wife, Deborah, are long-time fans of Yamaha artist Elton John. |
In the meantime, thanks to the Disklavier's state-of-the-art Smart PianoSoft technology (which plays nearly 1,000 audio CDs and accompanies them with piano performances), the family can enjoy a private solo performance by Elton John, right in their own living room, whenever they like. The Red Piano comes with five exclusive Elton John recordings, "Your Song," "Rocket Man," "Tiny Dancer," "Take Me to The Pilot," and "Candle in the Wind," as well as 25 disks of their choosing, which included Joe and Deborah's other favorites The Beatles and Faith Hill.
"Now we can always have music playing in the background," says Joe, "which we hope will help interest our kids in music."
