Created specifically for serious players and hobbyists, the 800 Series Recorders are finely handcrafted of seasoned woods that produce a warm, rich tone. Offered in two sopranino and five alto models, the series' new bore design improves intonation and generates an outstanding and concentrated sound. The handmade, detailed instruments also come with an arched windway enabling greater tonal expressivity and projection.

As a tool to help musicians and retailers select the best instrument, Yamaha has developed a catalog which showcases every recorder Yamaha has to offer, from the student 20 Series to the high-end 800 Series. The reference guide includes pictures and diagrams to highlight the features of each instrument, as well as information on parts and options. A unique fold out cover contains icons to help distinguish the different features, and recorder specifics are included on the back for quick reference.

"Yamaha is just as committed to offering high-end instruments as to our popular educational models," states Accessories Marketing Manager Ted Kuehnert. "Our new 800 recorder series and catalog exemplify how we are achieving this."

All 800 Series Recorders are currently available.
