Yamaha Hosts Junior Original Concert Series
BUENA PARK, Calif. The Yamaha Music Education Systems Division will host its Junior Original Concert (JOC) Series on Friday, January 19 and Saturday January 20, 2007. Held at noon each day in the Anaheim Marriott, Marquis Ballroom, Piano Stage, these free performances are open to all NAMM attendees.
The concerts will feature three outstanding Yamaha Music School students performing their original compositions. Emily Tu, age 11, a student at the Bergen Yamaha Music School in Paramus, N.J. will perform "Scherzo in C Minor," for solo piano; Benjamin Brosche, age 13, a student at the Fredericksburg Yamaha Music School in Fredericksburg, Va. will perform "Rapid Fire," for piano, bass, drums, and sax; and Isaac Quinones, age 7, a student at Heid Yamaha Music School in Appleton, Wisc. will also perform at this year's JOC concert event.
