NEW YORK, N.Y. — Approximately 60 music aficionados visited Yamaha Artist Services Inc., in New York City, for clinics and concerts by acclaimed trumpet players Tiger Okoshi, Marvin Stamm and Brian Lynch at this year's Day of Trumpets held on December 4.

Focusing on trumpet playing and making music, the day-long event gave participants the opportunity to tour the Band & Orchestral Atelier and take part in hands-on instrument testing, with technicians available to discuss Yamaha trumpets and customization options.

"Day of Trumpets III was a celebration of trumpet playing, from both a musician's stand point and a jazz lover's perspective," states Yamaha Band and Orchestral Division's Winds Marketing Manager Kurt Witt. "It is gratifying to know that this year's event not only showcased some of the top players in the industry, but also offered attendees new insights on making music."
