Yamaha Piano on FOX's 'House'

Dave Matthews plays a virtuoso pianist in a recent episode of "House."

Nashville, TN — Yamaha Corporate Artist Affairs supplied a DCFIIIS performance reproducing piano to FOX's hit medical drama "House." On March 6, GRAMMY®-winner Dave Matthews guest starred as a piano prodigy named Patrick, who suffered an accident as a child that left him with a severe neurological condition but also made him a virtuoso pianist.

Matthew's character was treated by Dr. House (Hugh Laurie) after he began suffering seizures, creating the dilemma of curing the impairment but losing his musical gift. More than 15 million households tuned in to watch the show, which easily won its time slot.
