Yamaha Launches New Music Finder+ Service For Clavinova Digital Pianos
BUENA PARK, Calif. — Yamaha introduces Music Finder+, a new, advanced version of its highly acclaimed Music Finder feature, which enables Clavinova CVP-300 owners to receive astonishing new capabilities delivered directly to their instrument using Yamaha's exclusive online feature, Internet Direct Connection (IDC).
Building on the functions of the original Music Finder, the new features include Music Finder Records, an enhancement that enables users to simply select their desired song and the instrument automatically makes all appropriate panel settings, including accompaniment style, tempo and voice.
The setups are free and available individually as Records or conveniently grouped into Collections. There are also special Music Finder Performance Guides which deliver digital sheet music directly to the instrument's display, helping the user to learn to play their favorite Music Finder Records. These Performance Guides are available at $1.95 each.
5,000 Records and 500 Performance Guides are currently available.
Music Finder+ requires an operating system (OS) upgrade to version 1.7, which must be installed using a SmartMedia Card. Owners of CVP-300 Series models can receive a free SmartMedia Card which contains the OS upgrade (and a free Wired USB-LAN Adapter) by registering for the Internet Direct Connection (IDC) Service, now through September 30, 2007.
