BUENA PARK, Calif. — To further highlight its commitment to providing the highest-quality instruments for professional musicians and consumers worldwide, Yamaha Corporation of America has implemented highly competitive warranties for its award-winning line of digital pianos, as well as its acclaimed string, wind and percussion instruments.

Yamaha Clavinova

The Yamaha Clavinova limited 5-year parts and labor warranty covers the product against defects in materials or workmanship for five years from the date of purchase. The warranty is granted to the Original Owner on models sold through specially authorized Yamaha dealers in the 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.

Yamaha Digital Pianos

Yamaha offers a 3-year Rock Solid Reliance Limited parts and labor warranty on digital piano models sold in traditional musical instrument retailers for three years from the date of purchase. The extended protection supports buyers of the Pro Audio & Combo Division's P, PF, CP, YDP and Nocturne series digital pianos (excluding the P65 and YDP131C sold in the mass-market channel). The warranty is granted to the Original Owner of a covered product that is purchased at an authorized Yamaha musical instrument (MI) dealer in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia.

Yamaha Band & Orchestral Wind Instruments

Yamaha's Band & Orchestral Division offers a 5-year limited warranty on all wind instruments. One of the first warranties of its kind, it covers all Allegro instruments, and any manufacturing defects.

Yamaha Band & Orchestral String Instruments

All Band & Orchestral Division string instruments have a 5-year limited warranty. This includes acoustic violins, violas and cellos, as well as silent and electric violins, violas, cellos and basses. This offer guarantees that all parts of every Yamaha string instrument are free from defects in materials or workmanship for five years from the date of purchase by or for the Original Owner.

Yamaha Percussion

The Yamaha Percussion Warranty covers instruments, purchased from an authorized Yamaha dealer, against defects and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase.

The warranty covers marching percussion, including FIELD-CORPS LITE and POWER LITE shells and FIELD-CORPS and POWER LITE drum hardware and their respective carriers for one year. All SFZ marching snare drums are covered by Yamaha's exclusive "Hoop-to-Feet" two-year warranty. Yamaha concert percussion and mallet keyboard products are also guaranteed for a period of one year from the original purchase date.

Yamaha guarantees that the lacquer, stain and plastic finish on its drums are of quality material and workmanship. The finishes are guaranteed for a period of one year from the original purchase date. Yamaha does not guarantee against deterioration by reason of corrosive atmosphere, extreme temperature or other external causes.

Wood shells are guaranteed against splitting or going out of round (providing Yamaha recommended tensions and Yamaha recommended heads are utilized) for a period of one year from the date of original purchase. Wood hoops are guaranteed for one year. Yamaha does not guarantee against deterioration by reason of corrosive atmosphere, extreme temperature or other external causes. Hardware is guaranteed against breaking for a period of two years from the date of purchase.

Field-Master™ cases are guaranteed for a period of ten years from the date of purchase against cracking or breaking under normal conditions of use (excludes straps).
