BUENA PARK, Calif. To help make Halloween as delightfully ghoulish as it can be, Yamaha is offering Clavinova CVP Series owners a free assortment of scary musical medleys, spooky sound effects and the soundtrack to America's creepiest and kookiest family, "The Addams Family."
What's more, these seasonal Clavinova offerings are available free of charge and for direct download to CVP300 and 400 Series digital pianos, thanks to the instrument's exclusive Internet Direct Connection (IDC) capability. This innovative feature enables users to access the Internet from the LCD display of the Clavinova and download their favorite song files and styles directly to the keyboard, making them available for immediate use without the use of a computer. An appropriate high-speed Internet connection is necessary to use this feature.
Available Halloween downloads include "Scary Medley," which features eerie songs from horror and sci-fi movie favorites, including "The Exorcist," "Halloween," "Psycho," "Tales from the Crypt" and "X-Files." If "Scary Medley" doesn't fully invoke the fear factor, Clavinova users can download "Sound Effects," a collection of hair-raising noises like howling wind, thunder, footsteps, creaky door, moaning ghosts, deadly screams and frightening laughs. Also available is a FollowLights version of "The Addams Family" theme and a "Spooky Karaoke" download of the "Monster Mash."
