As an enhancement to the already impressive accomplishments of the Yamaha Band & Orchestral Division, Signature Sounds is becoming popular for both music enthusiasts and performers alike, offering an ideal destination for music fans to learn about Yamaha artists from their home computers. In addition, artists such as jazz violinist Christian Howes and saxophonist Jeff Coffin, both featured in the "Impact" section of the current issue, benefit from exposure to a wider audience via this site. Fans interested in discovering new sounds may also sample tunes and learn more about performers and innovators in the field of orchestral and band music.

"It's a win-win situation for the performer and the listener," says John Wittmann, Marketing Manager, Yamaha Education and Artist Relations. "The site generates an awareness of these great artists and provides a forum for visitors to experiment with new music and stay up-to-date and informed on the latest trends and clinics. Signature Sounds truly demonstrates the benefit of using the Internet to promote an appreciation for music."
