Famed Musicians Robin Eubanks and Dave Samuels Give Clinics at Yamaha's Second Annual Day of Jazz
NEW YORK CITY Hundreds of musicians, students and fans filled the seats at Yamaha's second annual Day of Jazz, which took place on December 1st at Yamaha Artist Services, Inc. in New York City. Taking part in the clinics were celebrated artists Robin Eubanks, Dave Samuels, Eijiro Nakagawa and Mike Manieri. Dedicated to the art of jazz, the day-long event also offered participants the opportunity to tour the Band & Orchestral Atelier and take part in hands-on instrument testing.
"The Day of Jazz focused on the joy and process of making music, not just instruments," said Kurt Witt, Marketing Manager, Yamaha Wind Instruments. "It's particularly gratifying to know that this event-filled day was able to provide participants real world instruction from working professional musicians and offer lessons that go beyond the classroom."

Showcasing the latest in professional brass and woodwind instruments, it is also home to a full-service, state-of-the-art custom shop. It not only provides orchestral and professional musicians with unique customizations, it also offers quick repairs. Most importantly, the shop gives artists the opportunity to try prototypes of Yamaha's latest professional instruments.
