Always one of the hottest tickets among attendees of Winter NAMM, the preeminent music product industry trade show, this year's Groove All Stars concert is open to the public and tickets are selling fast. The evening's master of ceremonies, longtime Yamaha artist Rick Marotta, has recorded and toured with James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Steely Dan and Paul Simon, and also composed the theme to the television show "Everybody Loves Raymond."

"It's pretty rare to have so many great drummers in one place," said Marotta. "Even better is that they're all going to get to play. This show is a thrill for drummers and casual music fans alike."

Drummers scheduled to perform include: Tommy Aldridge, Tom Brechtlein, Gerry Brown, Teddy Campbell, Keith Carlock, Ndugu Chancler, Wolfgang Haffner, Akira Jimbo, Russ Kunkel, Shannon Larkin, Jerry Marotta, Russ Miller, Chris Parker, Dafnis Prieto, John "JR" Robinson, Antonio Sanchez, Oscar Seaton, Tony Verderosa and Dave Weckl.

The All Star Band will include Ross Bolton (guitars), Tabitha Fair (vocals), Jon Greathouse (keyboards), Ralph MacDonald (percussion), Eric Marienthal (saxophone), Jon Papenbrook (trumpet), David Spinozza (guitars), Neil Stubenhaus (bass/musical director), Mark Williamson (vocals) and Robbie Wyckoff (lead vocals).
