Yamaha Introduces Monster Swabs

ANAHEIM, Calif. — Yamaha Corporation of America, Band & Orchestral Division, will introduce new saxophone Monster Swabs at Winter NAMM 2008.

Specially designed to scrub the entire interior of any soprano, alto, tenor or baritone saxophone, Monster Swabs eliminate moisture and clean the instrument. Each Monster Swab features a padded insert that fills up the entire bore of an instrument as it is pulled through, removing any moisture that could harm the instrument. Targeted to saxophone players at every level, Yamaha Monster Swabs feature weighted strings for easy guidance and are machine washable.

"Yamaha Monster Swabs are different from any other swab on the market, as these swabs expand while they are pulled through the instrument," said Ted Kuehnert, Marketing Manager, Yamaha Accessories. "They will greatly assist the sax player's care and maintenance regimen."

Yamaha's Monster Swabs are currently available.
