Yamaha Marching Percussion Offers New Custom Finishes In More Than 20 New Custom Colors
BUENA PARK, Calif. Yamaha Band & Orchestral Division, Percussion Division now offers marching drums in more than 20 additional custom lacquer finishes made popular by the company's fashionable drum sets. These finishes were previously only available to the country's top drum corps playing Yamaha instruments.
Beyond the stunning range of new finishes, band directors and percussion instructors will appreciate the Custom Series Marching Percussion as a fantastic way to complement any school's color scheme and show concept. High school and college students will find a select choice of colors to meet the requirements of their school's marching band. Manufactured at the same factory as Yamaha Drum sets and standard marching drums, these new high-quality finishes are only available on Yamaha marching drums.
Yamaha Percussion is also making available its chrome hardware on marching snare drums. Coupled with the company's new custom colors, schools participating in activities like Bands of America, USSBA or local activities will now have more than 20 new selections.
"These colors have been made famous by Yamaha Drum sets over the past 40 years, and now they're being made available to schools who want that extra 'something' in their marching percussion," states Troy Wollwage, Marketing Manager, Yamaha Percussion Department.
