The Clavinova CVP Series offers a host of features that make it uniquely suited to worship. Using the instrument's new built-in disk drive and easy-to-operate sequencer, music and choir directors can record the accompaniment for the upcoming week's music schedule, enabling choir members and cantors to rehearse their parts independently at their leisure.

The CVP Clavinova can also play pre-programmed, contemporary worship music styles which produce guitar, bass, drum and other instrumental tracks instantly. The instrument can also show an on-screen list of over 600 hymns and worship songs, with custom registrations for each available at the touch of a button; record music tracks for use in rehearsals, services, or audio CDs; and automatically transpose live or recorded music to the key of your choice.

The Clavinova digital piano is also ideal for worship services because it houses a variety of tonal resources, including a wealth of piano, pipe organ, string and choir sounds. All of these resonances can be reproduced without the need for tuning or routine maintenance, saving time and eliminating unnecessary expenses.

With the built-in Transpose feature, music directors can now play any live or recorded music in keys of their choice. If timing is an issue for a choir, the Clavinova's Tempo feature can be used to slow down a recorded performance. This function is perfect for breaking down difficult sections of musical arrangements so that they are easier for singers and musicians to learn.

The Clavinova also includes a microphone input to add vocals with reverb and digital effects into its self-contained sound system, which can then be connected to a larger PA system.

For smaller congregations, the CVP's pre-programmed, contemporary worship music styles can produce guitar, bass, drum and other instrumental tracks that mask the absence of actual players, creating a full, diverse sound. The Clavinova CVP-300 is portable and can be ordered with an optional customized cart.

Marking its 25th Anniversary in 2008, the award-winning Yamaha Clavinova is the world's favorite digital piano. It is relied upon by prestigious music schools, perfoming arts institutions and houses of worship around the globe.
