Ideal for a variety of applications and instruments, the MSR250 delivers 200-watts of clean, dynamic sound via a high-performance 10-inch woofer and a one-inch titanium diaphragm compression driver designed for uncolored response from 55 Hz to 20 kHz.

The model is ideal as a PA speaker for smaller gigs or as an on-stage monitor for electronic drums, keyboards, vocals and acoustic guitar. It's also perfect for schools, government institutions, hospitals, houses of worship and businesses that require amplified sound at gatherings and presentations.

"The MSR250 is a great all-purpose cabinet," said Wayne Hrabak, marketing manager, Live Sound, Yamaha Pro Audio & Combo Division. "Performers and musicians of all types will welcome its transportability and its high output."

The sturdy, lightweight cabinet includes a three-input mixer, which eliminates the need for an external mixing board in small sound situations. Inputs, including XLR, quarter-inch and RCA, plug into the rear panel, which also offers a two-band EQ and line-out for easy system expansion. The asymmetrical cabinet design eliminates internal standing waves, which can color the speaker's output and harm sound quality.

Contributing to the unit's durability, advanced ferrofluid is employed in the high frequency driver, ensuring natural frequency response and dependable performance quality under heavy use.
