Sevendust Guitarist Recording Solo Debut

Clint Lowery
BUENA PARK, Calif. — Sevendust guitarist Clint Lowery entered the studio in September to begin recording his first solo album. Work on the project is expected to be completed by the end of October, though the release date has yet to be determined. Lowery's brother and former Dark New Day bandmate, Corey Lowery, is producing the record. Clint is currently streaming demos of three tracks at his MySpace page and all the acoustic guitar tracks have been done with a CPX900.

The guitarist, a founding member of Sevendust, rejoined the group earlier this year after a five year absence during which he worked with Dark New Day and Korn. Sevendust is on the road for a new round of fall dates to support its latest album, "Chapter VII: Hope and Sorrow," which came out last Spring. The set's current single, "The Past," features a guest appearance from Chris Daughtry.
