Yamaha Artists at 36th Annual American Music Awards

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — The 36th annual American Music Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, was broadcast live from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, Calif. on Nov. 23. Yamaha artists Alicia Keys, Sarah McLachlan, John Legend and The Fray (featuring Yamaha artist Isaac Slade), as well as Annie Lennox and Taylor Swift, performed with two C7S grand silent pianos placed by Yamaha Corporate Artist Affairs.

Keys took home two awards that evening, one for Favorite Album, Pop or Rock Music and another for Favorite Album, Soul/Rhythm & Blues. Yamaha artist Jay DeMarcus of the hit group Rascal Flatts won for Favorite Band, Duo or Group, Country Music. For the second consecutive year, all winners were chosen by fans via online voting.
