Inauguration Pride: Yamaha Ensemble Marches in Parade

The Fergus Falls High School Marching Band, an all-Yamaha ensemble, has been selected out of a pool of 1,382 applications to perform in the Inauguration parade for Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States. The Band, based in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, is made up of 120 members. With its many achievements, including a championship performance at the 2006 International Lions Parade in Boston, MA and a second place finish at the 1998 National Cherry Blossom Parade, Fergus Falls High School was named one of the Best 100 Communities for Music Education by the American Music Conference in 2004 and was also recognized as a Grammy Signature School in 1999. The band is one of over 30 all-Yamaha ensembles participating in the Obama Inauguration festivities.
