BUENA PARK, Calif. Yamaha Professional model clarinets boast an enormous amount of hand-craftsmanship, resulting in exceedingly well-balanced, responsive instruments. The new YCL-622II offers superb playability and sets new standards in bass clarinet design.
With a warm, full, powerful projection, the clarinet's range extends to low C, and intonation is balanced and true. The tone holes are undercut by hand for precise intonation and the keys are hand-adjusted for a perfect touch.

A two-piece Grenadilla wood body makes the YCL-622II resistant to temperature and humidity fluctuations. The clarinet also contains metal inner tenon sleeves that improve seal and tonal resonance. Its ball joint key connectors encourage ease of assembly while diminishing the chance of damage. A modifiable floor peg adjusts to proper playing position for players of different heights.
