The Eric Miyashiro Signature Series includes the EM1S, featuring a small rim inside diameter and the EM2S, which features a larger rim inside the diameter. Miyashiro made his debut as a professional musician at age 14 as the lead trumpet player of the Sammy Davis, Jr. band. After graduating from Berklee College of Music, he toured with the most prestigious names in the business, including Woody Herman, Frank Sinatra, Mel Torme and Tony Bennett. Currently a resident of Japan, Miyashiro works as a top studio musician, clinician and leader of his own band, the EM Big Band.

The David King Signature Series cornet mouthpiece—originally designed for the British Brass Band Cornet—features a deep "V" cut with a big throat and a special outside shape for smooth playing and improved sound. Yamaha collaborated with King, head of performance studies at the University of Salford and principal conductor of the Yorkshire Building Society Band, to create the ideal cornet mouthpiece.

"Yamaha has received many requests for these mouthpieces," says Roger Eaton, Director of Marketing Yamaha Band & Orchestral Division. "We are happy to offer these great mouthpieces from these exceptional masters."

Both the David King Signature Series cornet mouthpiece and Eric Miyashiro Signature Series trumpet mouthpiece are currently available.
