James Taylor on the Big Screen In Funny People

NASHVILLE, Tenn. Yamaha artist James Taylor makes a cameo performance with a C7S grand piano lent by Yamaha Corporate Artist Affairs in Judd Apatow's latest film Funny People, in theaters this summer. The comedy stars Adam Sandler as George Simmons, a seasoned comedian, and Seth Rogan as a young performer whom George takes under his wing when Sandler's character learns that he is terminally ill.
Apatow, also known for his hits The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up, has said about his third film behind the camera, "I'm trying to make a very serious movie that is twice as funny as my other movies. Wish me luck!" Sandler, Eric Bana, Jason Schwartzman and newcomers Aubrey Plaza and Aziz Ansari join a cast that reunites Apatow with Rogen, Leslie Mann and Jonah Hill in their third comedy together.
