BUENA PARK, Calif. — Jeff Coffin, a renowned saxophonist and composer, began touring with the famed Dave Matthews Band on April 14, debuting at their New York concert at Madison Square Garden.

The three-time Grammy Award Winner has been a Yamaha artist since 2002 and is primarily known for his performances with Bela Fleck & The Fleckstones. In addition to his heavy touring schedule with the Flecktones, Coffin's versatility has made him a high in demand session player with more than 100 recordings to his credit. Coffin is also a very active educator, teaching clinics and lessons all over the country.

Coffin's first recording with the Dave Matthew Band titled Big Whiskey and the Groogrux King, will be released in June 2009.
