Yamaha Launches Spiritual & Worship Internet Radio Channel

BUENA PARK, Calif. — Yamaha's innovative Internet Radio service, which provides streaming music to the company's digital keyboards and the Clavinova, Modus and Disklavier pianos, has launched a new channel called Spiritual & Worship, that is geared to the praise market.

Yamaha Launches New Worship Channel
The Spiritual & Worship channel streams music to Disklavier and other Internet-connected Yamaha keyboard instruments 24/7.
Currently available, the Internet Radio service offers streaming music 24 hours a day and plays directly through the keyboard. On several Modus and all Disklavier models, the keys move up and down as the song streams. Digital keyboards that can also accommodate Internet Radio include Tyros3, Tyros2, PSR-S900, PSR-S700 and the PSR-1500 and PSR-3000.

"As worship becomes increasingly important to people, they look for additional avenues to facilitate it in their homes," said Mike Overlin, Manager, Worship Resources. "We have received many requests for a channel dedicated to worship music and we anticipate a strong response."

Internet Radio offers two complimentary sampler channels and 10 subscription channels in addition to Spiritual & Worship, including Broadway, Classical and Semi-Classical, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Soundtracks and Standards.

This non-stop programming developed specifically for Yamaha keyboards, is available for $19.95 a month or for $199.95 per year, and is like having a professional pianist in the room at your beck and call. It's easy: just set up the service, turn on the piano and relax. There's no need to change disks or set up a playlist.
