BUENA PARK, Calif.—Rogers Drums will introduce the new Trailblazer and Prospector drum sets at Summer NAMM 2009, two kits that provide unparalleled value for drummers in all styles.

"For these new Rogers drum kits, we've managed to offer pro features in an accessible package," says Dave Jewell, marketing manager, Yamaha Drums. "From beginners looking for a solid starter kit to gigging musicians who want a quality second drum set that can handle the rigors of playing, these Rogers sets are perfect."

The Trailblazer kits come in three configurations and include a double bass drum pedal and a two-legged hi-hat stand. Three good-looking wrap finishes complement the birch and poplar shells. The steel snare drum is nickel-plated, the floor tom hardware has been upgraded and the tom and snare drum basket mount includes Yamaha's innovative ball joint for precise positioning.

Available in two configurations, the Prospector kits offer double-braced stands, an improved tom mount and a new bass drum pedal. Consisting of poplar shells, the kits include a newly designed throne, an infinite adjustable snare stand and four attractive finishes.
