Sounds Good, Feels Good, Right From The Start: The Yamaha Arius YDP-135R Digital Piano
BUENA PARK, Calif. — Yamaha Keyboard Division is pleased to announce the launch of the Arius YDP-135R digital piano. Featuring an attractive dark rosewood cabinet, the instrument offers excellent piano action, crucial for developing proper playing technique, as well as a three-pedal foot switch assembly for technically accurate pedaling functions - all at an affordably low cost.
Geared towards individuals and families looking for an upright alternative, the YDP-135R boasts impressive touch, tone and cabinetry, and is essentially a "zero-maintenance" instrument, flexible enough to be suitable for everything from children's piano lessons to every day leisurely playing.
Yamaha's entry-level weighted action and basic piano Voices combine together in an elegant dark rosewood cabinet for classic playability and traditional appearance. The built-in, piano-style foot switches operate like those of an acoustic piano with soft, sostenuto and sustain. It also features variable touch sensitivity for adjusting the instrument's response to your playing style and a 1-track sequencer to capture and reproduce a single performance. The included matching piano bench completes this set, which compliments virtually any home decor. It also features a sliding key cover and Yamaha 3-year Rock Solid Reliance parts and labor warranty.
According to Dane Madsen, Yamaha Electronic Keyboard Marketing Manager, "Yamaha worked hard to ensure that the Arius YDP-135R packed all the basic features any beginning pianist would want into a beautiful, polished rosewood finish cabinet, at an exceptional value." And given the quality, attractiveness and affordability of the instrument, "we're pleased to deliver this model to the marketplace in time for the holidays."
"The YDP-135R is a great instrument for anyone looking to start taking piano lessons," noted Electronic Keyboard Product Manager Nate Tschetter. "The Graded Hammer Standard keyboard has an excellent touch that's heavier in the low end and lighter in the high end, just like a real piano."
The Arius YDP-135R (MSRP: $1,199) is set to begin shipping October 1, 2011.
