Yamaha Partner Gallant Entertainment Signs On to Provide Drumline Performances at New York Jets Home Games

BUENA PARK, Calif. — This football season, Gallant Entertainment Inc., with the support of Yamaha Corporation of America, began presenting featured drumline performances during New York Jets home games at MetLife Stadium. Calling themselves the Aviators, the drummers perform on the field before each game and in a prominent location inside the stadium during games, where they lead the signature J-E-T-S Jets! Jets! Jets! cheer. Before and after the games, the ensemble performs in the tailgating areas and at the stadium’s main gate.

Based in New York City, Gallant Entertainment uses Yamaha marching percpercussion instruments exclusively and commissions its own drum charts. To enhance their compelling entertainment, which combines drumming with choreography and is rooted in the tradition of marching percussion with a contemporary twist, all shows are professionally produced, designed and choreographed. The spectacle is brought to life by some of the best performers in the business along with leading edge technology, including interactive LED lighting systems controlled by the rhythm of the drums and a sophisticated microphone system developed with Randall May International.

“Gallant Entertainment is bringing the excitement of drumline entertainment to a broad audience,” said Roger Eaton, Director of Marketing, Yamaha Band & Orchestral Division. “They have a special way of getting fans involved.”

One of the few professional drum corps in sports, Gallant Entertainment provided the first-ever drumline during select New York Giants home games at MetLife stadium beginning in 2012. This year, they continue to perform for the Giants and will again play at New York Knicks basketball games and at New York Rangers hockey games at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Beyond professional sporting engagements, the company’s innovative performance model enhances television commercials, corporate events and motivational seminars. Learn more at http://4wrd.it/GALLANT.
