Nathan East Debuts at #1

From sitting in with The Roots on Fallon, to performing his #5 Billboard jazz single "Daft Funk" for Tavis Smiley, who confessed to traveling the world to hear him live, Nathan East just wrapped a huge release week.

His self-titled debut solo album, "a superbly played set with the feel of a celebration" (AllMusic), is out now on Yamaha Entertainment Group, and features friends and past collaborators including Sara Bareilles, Eric Clapton and Stevie Wonder.

Nathan East debuted at #1 on the Billboard Current Contemporary Jazz chart, and also claimed #1 on iTunes Jazz and #1 Jazz album at Barnes and Noble.
