About Jake Eddy

Jake Eddy is a bluegrass guitarist from Parkersburg, West Virginia, and part of a new generation of musicians making their mark both on the road and online. Known for his impressive technical skill, wit, and charisma, Jake's social media performances have earned thousands of likes and views, but his musical roots run much deeper.

Jake began playing professionally at just 14, touring as a banjo player with bluegrass legend Melvin Goins. Growing up surrounded by traditional music, he went on to develop a distinctive guitar style influenced by both bluegrass and jazz. His talent has taken him to the Grand Ole Opry stage, where he performed with the Becky Buller Band and later alongside his brother Carter and mandolin legend Andy Statman.

Today, Jake continues to tour with Andy Statman, perform with his own band and as a solo artist, and share his knowledge through a busy teaching schedule. His debut album, Jake Eddy, showcases his guitar playing alongside acclaimed musicians including Grammy Award winner Bryan Sutton, Rob Ickes, and Kenny Smith.
