Yamaha RIVAGE PM7 Masters Papal Challenge At Croke Park

Despite lasting just 36 hours, the first papal visit to the Republic of Ireland for 40 years attracted global headlines and many thousands of Catholics who wanted to be in the presence His Holiness Pope Francis. Dublin’s Croke Park stadium was the setting of the Festival of Families - the climax of the triennial six-day World Meeting of Families - a major live event which featured a wide array of entertainment and the Supreme Pontiff addressing the 82,500-strong, sold-out crowd. A Yamaha RIVAGE PM7 digital mixing system was entrusted with managing and mixing the event’s Front of House (FoH) sound.

Platinum Sound - Yamaha Indonesia Aids Popular Bali Jazz Festival

For the past six years, the Balinese town of Ubud has attracted an increasing following of global jazz fans, thanks to the annual Ubud Village Jazz Festival. Held in early August, Yamaha Indonesia has been a Platinum sponsor of the event since its second year. This year Yamaha provided a RIVAGE PM7 digital mixing system and DZR series powered loudspeakers - used for the first time at the festival since their launch earlier in 2018 - as well as technical support.

RiverLife Church Singapore - Nexo Geo M10 Installation

RiverLife Church Singapore was established in 1991 as a central gathering point to worshippers residing in eastern Singapore. The church was previously known as Bartley Christian Church (Pasir Ris Centre) before being officially renamed as an independent body in 2000. Despite its small beginnings, RiverLife Church and its followers are dedicated to providing support to various special need communities locally and overseas. Currently, RiverLife Church serves about 3000 devoted worshippers weekly across 11 full services over the weekends.

Yamaha and Nexo host House of Worship Technologies Conference in Singapore

More than 130 delegates, mostly sound engineers, technical personnel and leaders from local worship facilities and congregations, have followed an invitation by Yamaha Music (Asia) to attend its House of Worship Technologies Conference at Singapore’s RiverLife Church. Aimed at providing a better understanding and knowledge of acoustics, sound integration and digital audio networking and signal processing in worship, the conference saw three presenters flown in.

Battisti’s Brilliance Commemorated With Yamaha RIVAGE PM7

2018 marks the 20th anniversary of the death of Lucio Battisti, one of Italy’s best-loved singer/songwriters. His legacy is kept alive by singer Gianmarco Carroccia who, in late April, marked the anniversary with a live performance of 30 of Battisti’s best-known songs. A Yamaha RIVAGE PM7 digital mixing system mixed the show.

Yamaha PM7: Antidote For Poison Tour

Front of house engineer Mark Woodcock has used the Yamaha RIVAGE PM10 Digital Audio Console on several tours, and now, the current Poison “Nothing But A Good Time” tour is his second gig using the new RIVAGE PM7 Digital Audio Console. “I had the PM7 out earlier in the year on a Bush run,” states Woodcock. “Initially, CLAIR GLOBAL asked if I wanted to try it, and I did about 20 dates with Bush and just loved it. That was the first time mixing a full band going through it, and it was awesome. Now, out with Poison, I asked CLAIR to hold the setup I had on Bush to use for the Poison tour.”
