In some cases, the Pickup Mute™ may not fit instruments that have significantly different bell diameters and/or shapes. Please double check the fit before purchasing.
The Pickup Mute is not compatible with Piccolo Trumpets, Alto (Tenor) Horns, Baritones, Alto Trombones, Bass Trombones or Marching Brass Instruments.

A check in the "Instrument" column means that the Pickup Mute will correctly fit into the bell and Brass Resonance Modeling™ will function properly.
A check in the "Original Case" column means that the Pickup Mute will fit completely inside the instrument's bell while inside of the original case.

The Pickup Mute is not compatible with Marching Mellophones, Marching French Horns, Alto (Tenor) Horns, or Baritones.
The SILENT Brass mute for Trombone (SB5X) and the Pickup Mute (PM5X) are not compatible with Alto Trombones or Bass Trombones.
The SILENT Brass mutes for Flugelhorn (SB6X) and the Pickup Mute (PM6X) protrudes 3-4 cm from the bell.

Always remove the Pickup Mute from the instrument if the instrument is to be stored for an extended period of time.
Do not connect the PHONE jack to a microphone input jack (or combined mic/line input) on a computer, etc., that also supplies power to the connected device (plug-in power).
Please note that Brass Resonance Modeling only functions correctly when the STX-2 Personal Studio is combined with a PM1X/2X/3X/5X/6X/7X Pickup Mute. It does not function with older Personal Studio or Pickup Mute models.
