Consumer Alert: Unauthorized Sellers

Yamaha Corporation of America sells products only through authorized dealers who have committed to provide excellent pre-sale and post-sale customer service and to uphold Yamaha standards. Authorized Yamaha dealers are the only retailers that can convey the Yamaha factory warranty. Purchasing from an authorized dealer is the only way you get Yamaha and a qualified dealer to support you in your use and enjoyment of your Yamaha product.

Unauthorized sellers may appear on a marketplace site, hosted by companies such as Amazon.com or Bestbuy.com. While Amazon.com and Bestbuy.com themselves are authorized dealers, some sellers on their marketplaces are not, so you should always confirm that the seller is authorized by Yamaha.

Unauthorized sellers may be selling counterfeit, damaged or altered products. Consumers who have purchased from unauthorized sellers report problems with post-sale support, and in some instances have even experienced credit card fraud as a result of attempting to purchase from unauthorized sellers. You can avoid these problems by buying from authorized Yamaha dealers. To help guide you, we have compiled a list of known unauthorized sellers.
