[Keyboard Instruments / Digital Pianos] What should I do if I cannot install the Yamaha USB-MIDI driver (for Windows)?

If you cannot install the Yamaha USB-MIDI driver on your computer (Windows), it is likely that the driver you downloaded is not compatible with your computer's operating system.
First, determine whether your computer is running a 32-bit version or 64-bit version of the Windows operating system.
Second, download the latest version of the USB-MIDI driver (for Windows)* here.
If your computer is running a 32-bit version of the Windows operating system, download the 32-bit USB-MIDI driver.
If your computer is running a 64-bit version of the Windows operating system, download the 64-bit USB-MIDI driver.
*Be careful not to download the drivers different from your computer's bit version.
Third, when you download the driver, it will be in a compressed (zip) folder. When you open the compressed folder, you will see the Setup file* as well as another folder called InstallationGuide which contains instructions in several languages. If you follow these instructions carefully, you will have success installing the new driver.
*The instructions will reference this Setup file. Take note of where it is.
