Yamaha Drums are Centerstage at Playboy Jazz Fest

BUENA PARK, CA (July 8, 2005) — As the brainchild of Playboy magazine publisher and music fan Hugh Hefner, the Playboy Jazz Festival has hosted legends Miles Davis, Chick Corea, Count Basie, Dizzy Gillespie and Wynton Marsalis. Now in its 27th year, the festival returned to the historic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles for a great weekend of music on June 11 and 12, bringing with it an eclectic mix of legends and emerging performers, and offering an array of musical styles ranging from hip-hop/jazz fusion and funk to straight-ahead be-bop.
