Hamamatsu, Japan – Yamaha announced that on October 9, 2025, it will rebrand the long-established UR series—previously offered under the Steinberg brand— under the Yamaha name and launch the “UR-MK3” series (UR12MK3, UR22MK3) and “URX-C” series (URX22C, URX44C). The UR-MK3 and URX-C inherit the proven features and reliability of the UR line, now delivered under the Yamaha brand to provide creators with trusted solutions for both music production and streaming.

Yamaha and Steinberg Announce Hardware Brand Transition

Hamamatsu, Japan ― Yamaha and Steinberg today announced that, as part of a group-wide restructuring of product development systems, Yamaha has taken over Steinberg’s hardware business.
