SRT-1000 TV Surround Sound System Discontinued

While other TV speaker bases offer only stereo audio or a “virtual surround” experience, the SRT-1000 uses Yamaha exclusive Digital Sound Projector technology to produce sound beams that reflect off the walls of your room to deliver true 5.1-channel surround sound. The result is an expansive and immersive listening experience that brings your favorite TV shows and movies to life.

The SRT-1000’s large capacity cabinet is built using MDF materials ideal for producing good quality sound, with a central array of eight beam speakers and oval woofer units on both sides that together create Yamaha's original Digital Sound Projector sound beams. Beams can be adjusted to cover a wider listening area with the remote control or with the dedicated Home Theater Controller app, for more people to enjoy the powerful, expansive sound.

The subwoofers mounted on the left and right sides of the bottom surface come equipped with independent bass reflex ports. The ports reduce unwanted resonance by facilitating a smooth flow of air. Combined with the cabinet’s large-capacity construction, the unit delivers rich, clear bass.

Use the output jack to add an optional external subwoofer for added bass.

Ultra-sophisticated Yamaha's CINEMA DSP technology creates thrillingly realistic soundscapes in any room. You can use the app or remote control to select four different programs, including movie, music, sports or game.

The SRT-1000 is compatible with popular surround sound formats, such as Dolby® Digital and DTS Digital Surround™,

The SRT-1000 offers a space-saving design that’s a breeze to install. Thanks to its 30-3/4" wide, 14-5/8" deep construction, the SRT-1000 can be placed under TVs up to 55" . And what’s more, because it’s designed to fit easily under your TV, the unit brings you full-scale surround sound without getting in the way of the TV screen.

The SRT-1000 can also be installed on a shelf or on top of TV furniture for use with wall-mounted TVs.

The SRT-1000 input/output connections are positioned diagonally on the top and back to allow for easy accessibility. In addition, it connects to your TV via a single cable, so setup is quick and easy. It provides three digital inputs (optical × 2/coaxial × 1).

The top surface of the SRT-1000 has a classic hairline finish for a luxurious feel. The front panel and sides have a beautiful glossy-black finish with a soft rounded design. It goes beautifully with any TV and gives a stylish air to any space.

Use the free Home Theater Controller app for iOS and Android™ devices. The easy-to-see and easy-to-use operating screen uses icons to let you easily perform a variety of operations. You can also make detailed settings for the beam sound output.

The SRT-1000 can “learn” select functions from your TV remote control; you can use the remote to turn the SRT-1000 on and off, adjust the volume and even control the mute function.
