Flagship Hi-Fi 5000 Series
Yamaha's traditional turntable design concept, our ‘GT Philosophy’, is a simple and faithful focus on the essence of pure sound, while actively adopting technologies and materials for the current Hi-Fi era. All the information carved into the vinyl groove is delivered to the amplifier without distortion or coloration. An achievement only possible with balanced transmission a non-feedback signal path.
Arriving at a new echelon for the GT turntable.
A harmony of sound encompassing the space and every minor detail in the music. An overwhelmingly expressive power that is possible with a patented floating and balanced amplifier design, now presented in a preamplifier. Pairing with the M-5000 power amplifier enables all stages of the signal path to be perfectly balanced. Sound from any music source is reproduced with a sound field and spatial expression that enables you to be consumed in the music, as if listening to an intimate performance by the artist.
Reproducing the emotional story ingrained in the music with unprecedented spatial dimension and realism underpins the design concept of the M-5000. Ground reinforcement, low impedance design, a tuning sensibility cultivated through years of experience in sound creation and reproduction, as well as excellent drivability that makes all low impedance speakers sound brilliant — the search for a sound sought after for many years is now complete.
Truly musical bass reproduction has been reached.
With the concept of emotional realism and faithfully presenting artists’ work forefront in the design, Yamaha has drawn on a richly acclaimed history while adopting highly innovative technology and design principles to present the flagship NS-5000 speakers. Adopting ZYLON™ for the woofer, mid-range driver and tweeter presents an astonishingly consistent sound characteristic across the entire frequency range. A consistency that more faithfully conveys the artists’ voice and emotion. Newly developed R.S. (Resonance Suppression) Chambers and Acoustic Absorbers unite in a luxurious piano black gloss finish cabinet using Japanese Birch from the island of Hokkaido, to produce a sound and performance that sets a new standard for Hi-Fi speakers. A nod to the past with cutting-edge technology and design that embraces the future.
