TP-7300 Series 7300 Series Professional Hammered Copper Timpani Discontinued

Pedal Balance Spring System

Pedal spring and head tension are balanced so the set pitch is maintained even if the player removes his or her foot from the pedal. Pitch changes across the entire range are smooth and easy.

Refined Kettle Design

In depth research into the effects of kettle edge angle and the dimensions of the openings in the bottom of the kettle have resulted in designs that bring out the most desirable characteristics of the copper materials used.

Advanced Machine Hammering

While faithfully replicating hand hammering techniques, newly developed hammering machines eliminate inconsistencies that can occur in the hand hammering process, resulting in beautiful kettles that produce deeper, richer tone.

PAC (Pedal Adjustment Clutch) System

The PAC system allows pedal resistance to be adjusted while maintaining perfect pedal balance. The original PAC system has been further refined to allow even finer adjustment. A large knob makes adjustment easy.

New Frame Design

The timpani frame does more than just support the kettle. It plays a significant role in sound quality as well. Strength and playability enhancements have been combined with artist feedback to create a new, optimally balanced frame design. A suspension ring attached to the frame provides a floating mount in which the kettle does not directly contact the frame, allowing full, unrestricted resonance.

Yamaha Remo Renaissance® Heads

Yamaha Remo Renaissance Heads with aluminum insert rings offer outstanding expression with stable pitch and excellent durability.

Large Casters and Pedal Casters

Two types of casters not only make moving and positioning Yamaha timpani easy, but also allow height adjustment so that the height and angle of the instruments can be precisely set as required. The large casters include a one-touch lock mechanism that contributes to fast, sure setup. The under-pedal caster is equipped with a larger wheel than the previous model.

All casters are equipped with 25mm-width height adjustment by which the height and the angle of the head can be finely adjusted. This enables the timpani to be played at any situation since the height can be always changed to the most suitable position both for the sitting and standing player.

German Setup Support

The tuning gauge can be easily attached to the left or right side of the instrument for compatibility with American or German system arrangements.

Key/Wrench Holder

A tuning key/wrench holder that attaches to the side opposite the tuning gauge is included.

Large Pedal

Large pedals have been adopted for easier operation. The pedal color is silver, making it easy to locate on a dark stage.
