How to play the Venova

Set the reed and ligature.

Stand up straight and place the mouthpiece in your mouth with the reed resting on your lower lip. Gently bite down with your upper front teeth.

Take a full breath, close your lips around the mouthpiece, and blow into the instrument.

Change the notes by changing your fingers. The Venova uses fingerings similar to a recorder.
