For close to 50 years, EARTH WIND & FIRE have been playing to sold-out audiences around the globe with their classic R&B and jazz sound. Recently, Eighth Day Sound, the band’s North American and European audio provider, has added a Yamaha RIVAGE PM10 Digital Audio Console at front of house. Prior to band rehearsals and hitting the road with the PM10 at Fantasy Springs Casino & Resort in Indio, CA in late August, Yamaha Professional Audio gave engineer Terry (TJ) Jackson a run-through.

In France, the Festival de Radio France in Montpellier featured a PM10 mixing two weeks of wide-ranging jazz performances.

Throughout 2016, Yamaha’s flagship RIVAGE PM10 digital mixing console has been seen on an increasing number of events and tours, giving engineers the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the state-of-the-art system. In late July it was specified by Swiss rental company Hyperson SA for Paléo Festival Nyon - Switzerland’s biggest music festival - where it was the star of a show which also featured several other Yamaha digital mixers.

(August 25, 2016)—Sound Image of Escondido, CA with offices in Nashville, Tenn. and Tempe, AZ has been providing sound reinforcement touring services to the industry’s hottest rock, country, and pop acts for over 45 years.
