PSR-SX700
Yamaha Expansion Manager is an application that you run with your computer, connected to your instrument. It allows you to manage every aspect of your Voice & Style Expansion content, and load it to your instrument.
Version 2.3 (or later) is compatible with the PSR-SX series. Please refer to your owner's manual for further details.
Customize Your Data
With Yamaha Expansion Manager, you're no longer limited to using just one Expansion pack at a time. When connected with your PSR-SX you can install multiple Expansion Packs!
You can also use your on-board memory more efficiently by creating a Personal Pack. Select your favorite Voices, Styles, Registrations and other Contents so you can use exactly what you need from your favorite packs.
In addition, you can create your own original voices and drum kits form your recorded sample data.
How To: Add Voice and Expansion Packs
1. Firstly, import your favorite Pack Project files (.ppf file)
2. Select Voice, Style and related data
3. Combine data from various packs and create an original Pack Installation file (.ppi file)
4. Using the Pack Installation file you made, Install it to your instrument via USB flash drive.
*You need to save the Instrument Info file of your PSR-SX series, and import the file to Yamaha Expansion Manager in advance

How To: Create Original Voices and Drum Kits
Import your own recorded sample data (.wav, .aif, .aiff) or SoundFont (.sf2). Build your own voices by adjusting various detailed parameters of the sound. Create your unique Voice and Drum kit!
*You cannot combine onboard + external voice elements, nor edit the onboard Voice. Please refer to the Yamaha Expansion Manager owner's manual for more detail.
