Power Amplifiers Optimized for Distributed Audio Systems
XMS Series amplifiers offer a unique combination of power sharing and flexible routing for more efficient signal distribution in distributed audio systems. Power can be shared across groups of four output channels, allowing efficient use of available amplifier resources. ProVisionaire Design can be used to configure power sharing automatically based on the selected Yamaha speakers, reducing manual calculations and helping to ensure that power to each output channel is allocated appropriately. What's more, the routing function allows audio signals to be routed as needed within each four-channel group, making it easy to distribute the same source to multiple zones.

XMS amplifiers include dedicated presets for Yamaha speakers that go beyond EQ settings, incorporating optimized limiter settings to help prevent damage from excessive power output. Yamaha’s ProVisionaire Design is a Windows-based application for precise, efficient audio system setup, making system design more streamlined and intuitive when using compatible Yamaha products. It enables in-depth configuration of XMS amplifiers and can also be used with the Conductor component on DME5/DME3 processors to easily configure an entire system, helping simplify workflow, accelerate setup, and improve consistency.

Easy on-site operation is essential for the smooth commissioning and maintenance of installed sound systems. XMS Series amplifiers feature a full-color front-panel LCD that allows installation personnel to check system status and adjust key parameters directly, without the need for a PC, making setup, verification, and tuning a smooth process. In the event of a problem, the LCD displays an alert together with a QR code linking to a dedicated website describing the required corrective measures. This installer-friendly interface facilitates rapid, efficient response on site, streamlining troubleshooting and helping to reduce downtime during installation and service.
